中央美術學院購3500個西瓜送畢業生大綱

The Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing has prepared an unusual farewell gift for its graduates, turning the campus into a sea of watermelons.

北京中央美術學院爲其畢業生們準備了一份特殊的告別禮物--將校園變成了一個西瓜的海洋。

Visitors can eat the watermelon on site or take them away.

遊客們可以現場吃西瓜，也可以把西瓜帶走。

It was a surprise specially prepared for students by the university, according to Beijing Morning Post.

據《北京晨報》報道，這一驚喜是學校爲學生們特地準備的。

About 3,500 watermelons were purchased from Daxing district in suburban Beijing and delivered by two large trucks before being arranged on the field at about 4 am.

這3500個左右的西瓜是從北京郊區大興區買來的，由兩輛大卡車運送，約凌晨4點被安排至地裏。

"To surprise students, we did it before dawn. So when students get up in the morning, it seems that the watermelons just sprung up one night," a CAFA employee explained.

中央美院的一名職員上解釋道：“爲了給學生們驚喜，我們黎明之前就做好了這事。因此，當學生們在早上起牀的時候，就會看到西瓜一夜之間就冒了出來。”

After the opening ceremony, the watermelons were given to graduates.

在畢業典禮後，這些西瓜會送給畢業生們。

The move is intended to bring teachers, students and the university together in a special way.

這一舉動意在以一種特殊的方式將老師、學生和大學聯繫在一起。
