一位學生表示，由於天氣漸熱，普通班的學生們想自己出資購買空調，甚至表示想自己付電費，但這些請求均被學校駁回。

重點班的英文表達就是honors class。honor做名詞時有榮譽、尊敬、正直等意思，做動詞時有尊敬的意思。honors則有禮遇，優異成績的意思。與之相對的就是普通班：regular class。據悉，該學校的重點班根據學生的中考成績來定。中考的英語表達是:High School Entrance Examination。air-conditioning就是空調的意思。文中的fan是指風扇，fan另外還有一個意思，就是大家熟悉的“迷, 狂熱愛好者 ”，也就是我們俗稱的“粉絲”。
