英語中數字表示方法
研究生入學考試聽力試題中第一部分爲填充表格，其中很大一部分是根據所聽內容填寫諸如數字、時間和地點等具體信息。而數字、時間等信息正是中國考生最不容易聽清楚的。下面是小編收集整理的一些英語中數字表示方法，大家一起來看看吧!

大於100的數字：

在英語中上面括弧中的and一般不能省略;而在美國英語中卻往往省去。請分析下面的對話：

B： That‘s nine hundred and ninety-eight， exactly.

英語中一千以上數字的表達方法是以三位數爲單元，從高到低billion，million，thousand而依次讀出的。因此我們在聽時，可以三位數三位數地記錄。試比較下面的對話：

B：One billion four hundred thirty'two million two hundred sixty'six thousand and forty three.

2英語數字的書寫攻略
英美等國的出版社在排版時遵循一條原則，即1至10用單詞表示，10以上的數目用阿拉伯數字(也有的以100爲界限)，這條原則值得我們借鑑。

在科技文章中，數字頻繁出現，用阿拉伯數字比用單詞陳述更有利。

句首不用阿拉伯數字，句末要儘量避免用阿拉伯數字。

遇到分數，可用帶連字符的單詞表示。

4在英語中怎樣讀大數
首先,英語數字都是以1000爲單位的,thousand(千),million(百萬),billion(十億).比如1 234 567 890要讀成one billion,two hundred thirty-four million,five hundred sixty-seven thousand,eight hundred ninty.有點特殊的是 2600 可以讀成 twenty-six hundred關於什麼時候加and,如果 相鄰的兩位數字不是零的話,and都是可以省去不讀的;如果出現零一般都得讀出.比如：1405 one thousand 4hundred and five,305 400 three hundred and five thousand (and)four thousand.以上兩個沒加括號的兩個and是不能省的.出現零也可以不讀出的情況只有200 300 two hundred thousand (and)three hundred所以最開始的1234567890這個大數每一處都可以加and,只是這樣不連貫,英語本土人一般都會把它省掉.我們自己讀的話都加上其實也沒錯的,畢竟我們也很難說到像他們那麼流利,加上and能增加我們思考和組織話語的時間.
