如何掌握英語助動詞
英語中的助動詞用來構成時態和語態。 助動詞具有語法意義，但沒有詞彙意義，不可單獨作謂語。下面是小編給大家分享的學習內容，大家可以作爲參考。
英語助動詞的用法口訣：
助動詞，用法怪;只當佐料不當菜。
句型變換顯身手;常與時態談戀愛。
have完成be進行;will將來三大塊。
加上各自過去式;總共構成六時態。
否定疑問靠它們;用法如同be相待。
一般現在和過去;沒有助動也無礙。
否定疑問照常變;過去did,do現在。
第三人單用does;遵守be法和情態。
助動詞 do 在祈使句中的強調用法：
有時可在祈使句前加上助動詞do (常重讀)，以表示說話人想特別強調他所說的話。這樣用的祈使句具有以下用法：
1. 表示強調的請求。如：
Do come with us. 請一定要和我們一起去。
Please! Do be quiet a moment! 求求你們! 安靜一會兒!
2. 表示委婉或客氣。如：
Do try this fish. 請嚐嚐這魚。
Do have another cup of coffee. 請再喝杯咖啡吧。
3. 表示不耐煩。如：
Do stop talking! 別說啦!
4. 希望說服對方。如：
Do help me with this maths problem. 務請幫我解答這道數學題。
代替動詞的do是助動詞還是實義動詞：
▲用來替代動詞的do是助動詞，也可以說用作“代動詞”，用來表示剛提到的動作，以避免重複。請看以下例句。
—Do you like Beijing? 你喜歡北京嗎?
—Yes, I do. 是的，喜歡。(do用作代動詞，代替like Beijing)
I always eat peas with honey. My wife never does. 我總是就着蜂蜜吃豌豆。我的妻子從來不這樣吃。(does用作代動詞，代替eat peas with honey)
▲但是要注意do so ,do it , do that這種結構，do不是助動詞，而是實義動詞，而且是及物動詞。例如:
She hoped that he would search the room carefully and he did so. 她希望他仔細地檢查房間，而他這樣做了。
At night, when you really wish to go to sleep, you rarely manage to do so. 夜裏當你正想入睡的時候，你卻很少能成眠。
I could run after a bus and catch it twenty years ago, but I can’t do that now.
Mr Brown goes to the hospital for treatment every week: in face, he has been doing it ever since I have known him.布朗先生每週去醫院治療：事實上，自從我認識他依賴，他一直就是這樣。
do用作助動詞的三種用法：
一、用於構成疑問句、否定句或倒裝句
1. 構成疑問句
Where do I pay? 我在哪兒付錢?
When do you start? 你何時動身?
How did you do it? 你是怎麼做的?
How do you feel today? 你今天感覺如何?
Why do you keep on smiling? 你怎麼老是笑?
How does the story end up? 這故事結局如何?
How does she stay so young? 她怎麼能永葆青春呢?
When did you realise that the money was missing? 你什麼時候發覺錢丟了?
2. 構成否定句
I don’t like football. 我不喜歡足球。
Please don’t annoy me. 請不要打攪我。
I didn’t arrive at the station early enough. 我到達車站不夠早。
I don’t care how expensive it is. 我不在乎這件東西有多貴。
I didn’t meet either Jane or her husband. 簡或是她的丈夫我都沒遇見。
He washed the car. He didn’t polish it. 他沖洗了汽車。他沒有擦拭它。
3. 構成倒裝句
Never did he speak about his own merits. 他從不講自己的功績。
Very rarely did she receive letters from her brother. 她很少收到她兄弟的信。
Hardly had he arrived when she started complaining. 他一到家，她就抱怨起來。
Never did he think the book would be finished so soon. 他可沒想到這本書會這麼快看完。
Seldom has a devoted teacher been so splendidly rewarded. 一位忠誠的教師很少受到如此豐厚的報答。
二、加在動詞前，表示強調
She does like dogs. 她真的喜歡狗。
Do have another cup of coffee. 請再喝杯咖啡吧。
Do be careful with that vase! 務必小心那個花瓶!
I do hope you’ll get better soon. 我真希望你早日康復。
He did come but soon went back. 他是來了，但很快就回去了。
三、用來表示剛提到的動作，以避免重複
“She likes cakes.” “She really does.”“她喜歡吃蛋糕。”“她的確喜歡。”
Watch that man—I want to know everything he does. 盯住那個人——我要了解他的一切活動。
I always eat peas with honey. My wife never does. 我總是就着蜂蜜吃豌豆。我的妻子從來不這樣吃。
She paid them a generous wage for the little they did. 她爲他們的那麼一點工作付了很高的工資。
Some parents did it only once a week, some said they never did. 一些父母每週僅做一次，一些父母則說他們從來不做。
