Chinese President Hu Jintao said on Sunday at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center that Hong Kong's remarkable progress proves that the "one country, two systems" is the best solution to the Hong Kong question left over from history and the best institutional arrangement for the long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong after its return to the motherland, Xinhua reported.
新華社報道，國家主席胡錦濤週日在香港會展中心表示，香港取得的巨大成就證明了“一國兩制”是歷史遺留的香港問題的最佳解決方案，也是香港迴歸後保持長期繁榮穩定的最佳制度安排。Earlier, Leung Chun-ying took to the podium to take his oath as the Chief Executive of the fourth-term government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
此前，樑振英上臺宣誓就任香港特別行政區第四任行政長官。"I will spare no effort to carry out my election platform and lead Hong Kong in seeking change while preserving stability," he said.
他說：“我會全力以赴，實踐我的競選承諾，帶領香港‘穩中求變’。”
