美國禁售抗菌產品在中國仍正常銷售 涉及國際品牌

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a final ban on some antiseptic wash products, but many big-name products are still available in China.

美國食品藥品監督管理局近日發佈了關於部分抗菌洗滌產品的最終禁售令，但許多大牌產品仍在華有售。

Companies will no longer be able to market antibacterial washes with certain ingredients in the US because "manufacturers did not demonstrate the ingredients are both safe for long-term daily use and more effective than plain soap and water in preventing illness and the spread of certain infections," according to the final rule from the US FDA on its official website.

根據美國食藥監局在其官網發佈的最終決議，企業將不能再在美國銷售含有特定成分的抗菌洗滌用品，因爲"生產商無法證明這些成分在日常長期使用情況下的安全性，以及在預防疾病和特定感染病的傳播方面比普通肥皂和水洗更有效。"

However, the antibacterial washes of big brands such as Dettol and Lifebuoy are still on market shelves in China.

不過，滴露、衛寶等大品牌的抗菌洗滌用品仍在華銷售。

Many wash products designed for babies clearly show that they contain such ingredients, and these products could be easily found in many shops in China.

許多爲嬰兒設計的洗滌產品清楚標明含有此類成分，在國內許多商店可以輕鬆找到這些產品。

Consumers may think such antibacterial washes are more effective at preventing the spread of germs, but t Woodcock, director of the FDAs Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, said that some data suggest antibacterial ingredients may do more harm than good over the long term.

消費者可能認爲這樣的抗菌洗滌用品可以更有效地防止細菌的傳播。不過FDA藥物評價和研究中心主任珍妮特·伍德考克表示，一些數據表明，從長遠來看，抗菌成分可能會弊大於利。

The final rule applies to products like soap and body washes that contain one or more of 19 specific active ingredients, including the most commonly used ones – triclosan and triclocarban.

該最終決議適用於如肥皂和身體洗滌液這些含有19種特定活性成分中一到多種的產品，這其中最常用到的是三氯生和三氯卡班。
