【口語講解】curry favor
curry favor就是拍馬屁的意思。字面意思不是咖喱口味麼？這個俚語搞笑了，話說咖喱口味跟拍馬屁有啥關係咧？難不成是用咖喱來拍柒的馬屁麼？（好愛吃咖喱哇~~Yummy！）其實這個詞的來源是法語：curry不是咖喱，而是法語詞conraier，意思是“準備”；同時favor也不是口味，而是法語詞 favel，表示“馬屁精”。這樣就理順了，conraier favel到了英文當中漸漸就因爲發音相近變成了curry favor，有意思吧？
