Neil has been offered a dream job at a sweet factory. But he's not convinced he'll enjoy it. In this programme we learn a phrase about experiencing new things.

Feifei: And Neil, this might be the last ever time we see each other! All ready for your new job at... where was it again?
菲菲：尼爾，這可能是我們最後一次見面了！你已經爲新工作做好準備了……你要去哪兒上班來着？Neil: A sweet factory.
尼爾：一家糖果廠。Feifei: Quite a big change from radio production.
菲菲：從廣播節目製作到糖果廠，真是相當大的變化。Neil: Yeah, well they pay very well. And I love sweets. I'll just suck it and see.
尼爾：對，他們的薪資不錯。而且我也很喜歡糖果。我打算試試看。Feifei: Suck... the sweets?
菲菲：吸吮……糖果嗎？Neil: No, you know what I mean!
尼爾：不是，你知道我的意思！Feifei: Yes, just kidding. The phrase suck it and see is used when you do something new and you're not sure whether you will like it or not – like a new job.
菲菲：對，我只是開個玩笑。在你嘗試新鮮事物可是又不確定自己是否會喜歡的時候就可以用suck it and see這個短語，比如開始一份新工作的時候。Neil: Here are some examples:
