2. it 可以用來表示時間、時令季節、天氣、日期等，無實義。
如：
It’s seven o’clock.
It’s Christmas next Friday.
It’s March 15th, Sunday.

3. What be like 是什麼樣的，如：
A：What is your school like?
B：It’s not very big, but very beautiful. It has lots of trees.
4. too… to… 太……而不能……，如：
She is too shy to say anything.

三、重點分析：
1. 日期和星期的問法：
問日期：What’s the date…?
問星期：What day is it…?
---What’s the date today? 今天幾號? ---It is June 1st.
---What day is it today? 今天星期幾? ---It is Monday.
2. 日期的讀法：
讀法1：月份+the+序數詞，如7月2日讀作July the second
讀法2：the+序數詞+of+月份，如7月2 日讀作the second of July
3. 日期的寫法：月份+日期序數詞，如October 2nd, 或簡寫爲Oct. 2nd.
4. We are all going to go to his home for a party tomorrow.
for表示目的，
如：
Everyone will come home for the Spring Festival.
The little baby walked to his mum for water.
5. 形容詞修飾anything, something, nothing等不定代詞時要後置，如：
I learn something interesting about the weather in English today.
There is nothing good to eat there.
6. 基數詞表序數詞口訣：
基變序，有規律。
一二三，特殊記 (first, second,third)
加 th從四起。
八去t (eighth), 九去e (ninth)
f 來把ve替 (five---fifth,twelve---twelfth);
ty變成tie (twenty---twentieth);
若是遇到幾十幾，只變個位就可以(twenty-one----twenty-first).
序數詞表順序，一般需用定冠詞。
