中興打造全球首款千兆手機 首次嚐鮮5G網絡

Chinese telecom conglomerate ZTE Corp unveiled a prototype handset, embracing 5G even before it's commercialized for smartphone users.

我國電信集團中興通訊日前發佈了一款原型機，使智能手機用戶在5G商業化之前即可享受5G體驗。

Dubbed Gigabit Phone, the device will become the world's first smartphone with download speed reaching up to 1Gbps, 10 times faster than most of the existing handsets.

這款設備名爲"千兆手機"，將成爲世界首款下載速度最快可達每秒1G的智能手機，比大多數現有機型快10倍。

"ZTE is an end-to-end solution company that focuses on 4G and 5G network evolution," said Lou Wei, the product head for Devices and Terminals of ZTE North America.

中興設備和終端北美地區的產品負責人"中興通訊是一家專注於4g和5g網絡進化的端對端解決方案的公司。"

"We'll utilize technology innovations to improve our smartphone's experience," he added.

他補充說道：“我們將利用技術創新來提高我們的智能手機的體驗。”

The new phone, powered by the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 mobile platform, integrates the Snapdragon X16 Long-Term Evolution modem with a series of ZTE's R&D optimization techniques to achieve the download speed.

這款新手機由高通驍龍835移動平臺驅動，集成驍龍X16長期演進調制解調器和一系列中興的研發優化技術，實現了這一下載速度。

The improved download speed will enhance users' experience by allowing for 360 degree panoramic VR video, instant cloud storage, entertainment upgrades and fast cache of ultra hi-fi music and movies, and instant APP, which removes the need for download or installation of applications.

提升後的下載速度將使360度全景虛擬現實視頻、即時雲存儲、娛樂升級、快速緩存超高保真音樂和電影以及無需下載安裝的即時應用成爲可能，從而提升用戶體驗。
