今天，我們主攻“keep”一詞的活用，“keep”可以用在很多句型中，其意思相當廣泛。
首先，keep + 形容詞(副詞), 保持某種狀態：
Please keep quiet. 請保持安靜。
The fish won't keep long; we must eat it now. 這魚無法保存很久, 我們必須現在就把它吃掉。
keep + something, 保留某物，遵守諾言：
Why didn't Daddy let me keep the ten dollars? 爸爸爲什麼不讓我留下這十美元?
She kept her promise.她遵守了諾言。
keep somebody + 形容詞(副詞)，使某人怎麼樣：
This job keeps me rather busy. 這個工作使得我很忙碌。
Your constant support keeps me energetic. 你的不斷的支持讓我充滿活力。
keep somebody + 動詞過去分詞
The story of your success keeps me motivated. 你成功的故事激勵着我。
The tough times I've been through these months keeps me tired. 這幾個月的艱難經歷使我非常疲憊。
keep on/to something 繼續朝某方向，留在某地，保持在某位置上
Keep straight on until you get to the bank. 繼續向前走直到那個銀行。
He was ill and had to keep to his bed for weeks. 他生病了，不得不在臥牀好幾個星期。
Teaching online is exhausting, but I manage to keep going, 網上教學有些累人，但我設法堅持下來。這句話中，“keep going”的意思是“不停止，不放棄，繼續”。
