We have just moved into a new house and I have been working hard all morning. I have been trying to get my new room in order. This has not been easy because I own over a thousand books. To make matters worse, the room is rather small, so I have temporarily put my books on the floor. At the moment, they cover every inch of floor space and I actually have to walk on them to get in or out of the room. A short while ago, my sister helped me to carry one of my old bookcases up the stairs. She went into my room and got a big surprise when she saw all those books on the floor.‘This is the prettiest carpet I have ever seen,'she said. She gazed at it for some time then added,‘You don't need bookcases at all. You can sit here in your spare time and read the carpet!'

第三部分 LANGUAGE POINTS
1、I have been trying to get my new room in order.
get/put sth. in order:把..整理好/收拾乾淨
2、At the moment, they cover every inch of floor space and I actually have to walk on them to get in or out of the room.
at the monent:現在，這會兒 (＝now)
cover：佔滿空間
inch(inches) 英寸
foot(feet) 英尺
mile(miles)英里
3、A short while ago, my sister helped me to carry one of my old bookcases up the stairs.
help sb.(to) do sth.:幫助某人做某事(to 可省略)
4、She gazed at it for some time then added,...
gaze at:凝視
stare at:盯着看
add： 接着說，逗號後可跟直接引語
5、You don't need bookcases at all.
all:根本不
need：此處作普通動詞用
Ex:You needn't(情態動詞) be so rude about it.
第四部分 KEY STRUCTURES AND USAGE
現在完成時和現在完成進行時
現在完成時have done --
1）在漫長地時間段, 過去發生的, 還一定要對現在產生影響
2）在過去發生的動作, 一直延續到現在
現在完成進行時have been doing--
表示一個動作從過去一段時間一直延續到現在，可能已經完成，可能正在繼續
Ex：
=>We have just moved into a new house and I have been working hard all morning.
=>I have been trying to get my new room in order.
=>This has not been easy because I own over a thousand books.
=>I have temporarily put my books on the floor.
=>This is the prettiest carpet I have ever seen
現在完成時和現在完成進行時的比較
與段時間連用可以用現在完成時, 也可以用現在完成進行時, 但跟次數連用的, 一定只能用完成時, 不能用現在完成進行時
=>It hasn't rained for six weeks.
=>It has been raining since yesterday and it is still raining.
=>He has rung me up five times since 12 o'clock.
=>He has been ringing me up all morning.
=>He has never stayed at this hotel before.
=>He has been staying at this hotel for the last three weeks.
