西方家庭也重親情

許多留美的學生通過親身體會都認爲，不僅是我們中國人重親情，美國人也很重視親情，只是表現形式有所不同。
1.聖誕節就像我國的春節，是美國國家親人團聚的第一大節日，而且它往往與寒假連在一起，有較長的時間進行多種慶祝活動。就像中國人一樣，不論兒女在多麼遙遠的地方學習工作，聖誕節前都要趕回家裏和父母團聚，給父母帶來禮物、溫暖和祝福。
2.感恩節是美國人的又一大節日。顧名思義，感恩節就是要對曾經養育過自己的父母和親朋表示感謝之意。每逢感恩節，在遠方學習工作的子女都回家團聚，吃烤火雞等豐盛的菜餚，舉杯慶祝，感謝親人的養育之恩。
