1. lovebirds
要用複數形式哦，指的是熱戀中的情侶。
Look at those two lovebirds holding hands and gazing into each other's eyes.
瞧那對戀人正手拉手深情對視呢。
還有兩個甜蜜英語表達——
◎ lovey-dovey
lovey-dovey 是形容詞，意思就是（在公開場合）卿卿我我的、過分親熱的。
◎ Public Display of Affection (PDA)
affection是喜愛；鍾愛；摯愛，在公開場合展現的愛慕之情，就是秀恩愛啦！
2. spring sth on sb
spring的動詞意思是“跳，躍，蹦“，把某物彈在某人身上，這裏的意思是突然告訴（某人）；冷不防地問（某人）。
I hope he's not going to spring any nasty surprises on us at the meeting this morning.
我希望今天上午的會議他不會冷不防對我們說出一些讓人討厭的話來。
3. bad side
如果說bad side是這邊臉不上相，那上相怎麼說呢？
如果要形容某人上鏡的，上相的，就可以用 photogenic 來形容。
Your daughter is very photogenic! She is a born model!
你的女兒非常上相！她是天生的模特！
4. high-strung
high-strung的意思是緊張的；易生氣的，英式口語裏是highly strung。
比如：
a high-strung young woman
神經緊張的年輕女子
a high-strung racehorse
易受驚的賽馬
