3.詳細解說

1.“sort of”的意思是“有幾分,有點兒”,例如:I sort of like him.(我有點兒喜歡他。)
2.“give up”的意思是“放棄,停止”,在文中與“quit"意思相同,且用法也一致:它們後面都要接“名詞或動詞ing結構”。例如:The police gave up their search.(警察停止了他們的搜查。)I wish I could quit drinking.(我真希望自己能戒酒。)
